You can sign up using your email and password, or use Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. During registration you'll provide your username, name, date of birth, and a few fitness preferences.

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset code valid for 10 minutes. If you signed up with Google or Apple Sign-In, password reset doesn't apply — use your provider's login instead.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account in the app. Your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. You can cancel the deletion by logging back in during this window.

Yes. Go to your Profile and tap Edit. Usernames must be 3–30 characters (alphanumeric and underscores only).

The real map is divided into hexagons. When you record a run, every hexagon your GPS path passes through is captured and turns your colour. There is no need to run a closed loop — just run, and the hexes along your route become yours.

The most common reason is low GPS accuracy — the app ignores location readings that aren't precise enough, for example in tunnels, between tall buildings or right after starting the run. Keep the app recording until the run is finished, and give your phone a moment to get a GPS fix before you set off.

Yes. If another runner runs through a hexagon you own, it becomes theirs — and you can take it back the same way. There is no cooldown or protection window, so running your streets regularly is the way to hold them.

Captures are fully automated and based only on recorded GPS routes. There is no appeal mechanism for individual conquests. If you believe a technical error occurred, contact us at support@wibto.com with your run ID.

Wibto Pro unlocks: territory attack alerts, route explorer, 1v1 challenges, squad mode (up to 5 members), advanced analytics, personal heatmap, GPX export, territory animations, custom territory names, seasonal pro league, and unlimited run history.

Go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions and cancel Wibto Pro from there. You must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.

Your Pro access remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that it will automatically revert to the free tier.

All purchases are processed by Apple. Please submit your refund request directly through Apple's Report a Problem page or the App Store. We cannot process refunds directly.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Export My Data in the app. Your runs will be exported in GPX format. Note: the current export covers run GPS data; profile fields and achievement history are not yet included.

Yes. Go to Settings > Privacy > Public Profile to toggle your profile visibility. You can also individually control leaderboard visibility and run path sharing from the same menu.

Your precise GPS run paths are only visible to you. Other users can see your territory polygons on the global map, but not the underlying GPS coordinates. Run paths can optionally be shown on your profile (Settings > Privacy > Share Run Path).
