Delete your Wibto account

How to request deletion of your Wibto account and its data, what we delete, and what may be kept.

Wibto is developed by Serhan Emre Telatar. You can delete your account from inside the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1: In the app

Open Wibto and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion.

30-day grace period

Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. If you change your mind, log back in during those 30 days and the deletion is cancelled.

Option 2: By email, without the app

Email privacy@wibto.com from the email address linked to your Wibto account, with the subject “Delete my Wibto account” and your username. We aim to respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days.

Before you delete

You can export your run data in GPX format via Settings > Privacy > Export My Data.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active Wibto Pro subscription. Cancel it separately in your app store’s subscription settings.

What we delete

Your account and user profile. Your profile is removed from public view.
Your runs and GPS paths, collected walks (Auto Conquest), territories and achievements.
Your sign-in record (Firebase Authentication).
Your push notification device tokens.

Your territories will no longer be associated with your username on the map.

What may be kept

Leaderboard snapshots: monthly snapshots are retained indefinitely and may still show your username, avatar and display location.
Challenge history: retained indefinitely as competition records.
Follow relationships and squad memberships: may not be fully purged from all systems.
Analytics events (PostHog): governed by PostHog’s data retention policies.
Server logs: kept for 30 days.

If complete erasure of all traces is important to you, email privacy@wibto.com and we will perform a manual review.
